About Pro Trade Financials

I’m Donovan Norris, the owner of Pro Trade Financials. I help contractors, trades businesses, and small business owners keep clean, accurate books so they can understand their numbers and run a more profitable operation.

My background sits at the intersection of accounting, payroll, and the trades. I’ve managed full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, processed biweekly payroll for roughly 200 employees across multiple locations, and prepared certified payroll reports for prevailing wage and government contract work. I’ve also worked on the construction side as a site superintendent, which gives me a practical understanding of how jobs, labor, materials, and cash actually move in the field.

That combination is why I started this business. Too many bookkeepers treat every company the same. I focus on delivering accurate books, proper job costing when it matters, and straightforward communication that makes sense for real operating businesses.
